Serving the Finest Produce Since 1993

FAQs

Are your grapes seedless?

99% of the time we carry only seedless varieties of grapes. Occasionally, we stock a seeded variety such as Red Globe grapes when they are readily available to us. In any matter, our signage will read "seedless" or "seeded".

Do you carry organic produce?

Occasionally, we stock organic produce when it is available to us at a reasonable price. The fact that we are not climate controlled makes it difficult to stock items that typically have a shorter shelf life and are more expensive than conventional produce.

Do you crack fresh pecans?

Unfortunately, we do not own any pecan cracking machines.

Do you ship any of your products?

While we do not regularly ship at this time, please contact or visit the store during regular business hours to discuss the possibility.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. During the winter months we close at 7 p.m.

When are Creole Tomatoes in Season?

Creole tomatoes are mainly harvested in late spring through early summer. There is, however, usually a short period of time during early fall that conditions are favorable enough to harvest a smaller crop than in the spring.

Where do you buy your produce from?

We purchase as much locally-grown produce as we possibly can year round. When items are not available "homegrown," we look to the regions that are geographically closest to us first. We also concentrate on domestic produce, only buying imported goods when they are not available from anywhere in the U.S.A.

Will you purchase items from me that I have grown in my garden?

Most definitely. We try to support our local communities as much as possible. Please call and get authorization from a member of management prior to bringing us the product. We must determine that your items are suitable for retail sale before we can purchase them. Occasionally we are heavily stocked on certain items and cannot buy them right away.
